Privacy Policy

SayLess is a social accountability app for goals, friend bets, and group challenges. In this policy, "SayLess," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the operator of SayLess and the website at sayless.vairlo.com.

This policy covers the SayLess mobile app, invite pages, support pages, account deletion page, and related services. It does not cover third-party app stores, device platforms, or services that have their own privacy policies.

We collect information in these categories:

• Account and profile information, such as your name, display name, username, email address, authentication identifiers, profile photo, and settings.
• Bet and challenge information, such as titles, descriptions, deadlines, participants, invite tokens, rewards, consequences, outcomes, check-ins, dispute status, and Honor score history.
• Proof and user content, such as photos, screenshots, comments, or confirmations you choose to submit for a challenge.
• Invite and referral information, such as links you create or open, the challenge preview shown on the web, and whether an invite has been claimed.
• Support and safety information, such as emails, reports, screenshots, account identifiers, and messages you send us.
• Technical information, such as IP address, device type, operating system, browser, app version, crash data, logs, diagnostics, and approximate location inferred from network information.

SayLess does not process cash wagers or payment card numbers for bets. If a future paid feature is offered, payment information will be handled by the app store or payment provider listed at checkout.

We use information to:

• Create and secure accounts.
• Create, show, join, remind, settle, and archive challenges.
• Display challenge details, proof, outcomes, and Honor scores to the people who are part of the same challenge.
• Send service messages, reminders, invite links, and support replies.
• Detect abuse, investigate reports, prevent fraud, and enforce our Terms.
• Debug, maintain, measure, and improve the app, website, and invite-link experience.
• Comply with legal, safety, tax, accounting, or regulatory duties.

We share information only as needed to run SayLess:

• With challenge participants. Challenge terms, proof, status, invite previews, outcomes, and related Honor effects may be shown to people invited to or participating in the same challenge.
• With service providers. Hosting, database, authentication, storage, analytics, diagnostics, email, and support vendors may process information for us under their own security and privacy commitments.
• For safety and legal reasons. We may disclose information if we believe it is needed to protect users, investigate abuse, comply with law, respond to valid legal requests, or enforce our Terms.
• During a business transaction. If SayLess is merged, financed, acquired, reorganized, or transferred, information may be included as part of that transaction.

We do not sell your personal information. We also do not use proof photos, challenge text, or support messages for third-party advertising.

We keep information for as long as it is needed to provide SayLess, keep accounts secure, preserve challenge history for participants, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our Terms.

You can request deletion of your account at sayless.vairlo.com/delete-account. We will delete or de-identify account information, profile data, identifiable Honor history, proof uploads, and invite tokens tied to your account unless retention is required for legal, safety, security, or fraud-prevention reasons.

Because challenges can involve multiple people, some shared records may remain visible to other participants with your identity removed or replaced with "Deleted user."

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, export, restrict, or object to the use of your personal information. You may also have the right to appeal a privacy decision or complain to a privacy regulator.

To make a request, email support@sayless.vairlo.com. We may ask you to verify that you control the account before acting on the request.

SayLess is not intended for children under 13. If the law where you live requires a higher minimum age or parent consent, you may use SayLess only if you meet that requirement. If you believe a child provided personal information without proper consent, contact us and we will review it.

We use technical and organizational measures designed to protect account information, proof uploads, and challenge records. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so use a strong password, protect your device, and contact us if you think your account has been accessed without permission.

SayLess may process and store information in the United States, Canada, and other countries where we or our providers operate. Those countries may have privacy rules that differ from the rules where you live.

We may update this policy as SayLess changes. If an update materially changes how we use personal information, we will take reasonable steps to notify users.
